Eternal Rush is easy to start and deep to master. If you've just begun your climb, these seven tips will get you moving fast — and help you avoid the rookie mistakes that stall most new players.
Tap during boss fights
Your heroes auto-attack constantly, but tapping deals bonus damage on top of that. Regular waves clear themselves, so save your fingers — then go wild on bosses. Pro move: a boss won't survive long when you tap with multiple fingers at once.
Spread gold across heroes, don't dump it on one
It's tempting to pour everything into your strongest hero, but your team's total damage matters more than any single unit. Keep your roster leveled evenly, and every wave gets easier.
Always claim your daily reward
The 7-day login streak is one of the best deals in the game — it ramps up to 1,000 diamonds on day 7. Log in every day, tap claim, and keep the streak alive. Diamonds are precious early on.
Open chests for free gear and pets
Chests rain down from bosses and rewards. Don't hoard them — open them. Early gear and pets give you huge percentage boosts that carry you through the first dozen realms.
Fuse your duplicates
Got two of the same hero, pet, or gear piece? Fuse them. Fusing stacks duplicate power into one stronger item instead of leaving you with clutter. This is the cleanest way to spike your power without spending a diamond.
Equip three pets and hatch everything
Pets grant passive bonuses that are always working in the background. Hatch every egg you get and keep three active pets equipped at all times. Use Hatch All when your egg pile gets big.
Don't fear the Ascension gate
When you clear a realm's final boss, the game offers you Ascension — a full reset for permanent power. New players sometimes avoid it, thinking they're "losing progress." You're not. Ascending makes your next run several times faster. Ascend the moment you're ready.
Bonus: claim your offline earnings
Closed the app? Your heroes kept fighting. Open Eternal Rush and you'll be greeted with a "Welcome Back" pile of gold. It's free progress — collect it and reinvest.
Follow these seven habits and your first 100 waves will be in the rear-view mirror before you know it. Now get out there and rise.
